Position Overview
We are looking for an office/workshop cleaner who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment in assigned areas. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant working environment. Responsibilities will be shared with our existing cleaner.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift or move light objects.
- Reliable and punctual.
Working Conditions
- The role involves working in an industrial setting, which may include exposure to loud noise
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday mornings, 16 hours per week
Rate:
£12.21 p/h
