Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steelwork Fabricator / Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fabrication , specifically within the steelwork or construction industry. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Days, Afternoons or Nights available
Responsibilities
- Working within the Rail, Highways and Construction industry.
- Fabricating heavy steel work fabrications to a high standard.
- Working from engineering drawings.
- Producing bespoke products for heavy steel industry.
Essential Experience
- Confident plater or fabricator, 5+ years experience preferred
- Ideally apprentice trained or relevant qualifications.
- Confident MIG Welder Experience operating fabrication machinery.
- Must have worked within a heavy steel industry.
- Confident working from engineering drawings from scratch.
Working Conditions
- The role involves working in an industrial setting, which may include exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
- Physical stamina is essential as the role involves manual labour and extended periods of standing.
Pay range subject to shift pattern –
Monday to Friday
8 hour shift with overtime and weekends available
24 days annual leave
