As 2025 draws to a close, the Carver team has been reflecting on the past year. We’ve made some great advancements for both our customers and internal team. Our passion and dedication to providing exceptional results across our steel fabrication services and delivering impactful projects has remained at the forefront of our operations.
To celebrate another fantastic year with Carver, we’d like to share our most incredible accomplishments from 2025. It’s all been made possible by our talented team and client collaboration to drive customer success.
We won 30 projects
Since the beginning of 2025, we’ve successfully secured 30 projects, including Rye House Station Staircases, Birch Level Crossing, Pokesdown Station, and part of the works at Hinkley Point C. Once completed, these projects will serve a wide range of sectors, from nuclear energy to railway. We can’t wait to see the results!
And completed 35 projects!
This year, we successfully worked through and delivered over 30 various projects, some of which began in 2024, and 22 of these were won this year!
Our completed projects in 2025 have seen us work across a diverse range of sectors and constructions in the UK, from rail and highway bridge and staircase fabrications to structural foundations in the energy sector.
Some of these projects include:
- Shortlands Station, South-East London
- Hinkley Point C, Somerset
- Darlington Station, County Durham
We delivered our fabrication works around the UK
Our fabrication works have travelled across over nine different UK counties from their starting point at our dedicated facility in Doncaster, highlighting our dedication to supplying our services throughout the nation. That’s over 1,200 miles in total!
We bridged the gap by fabricating over 543 metres of walkways and stairs
Which is nearly 200 metres more than last year! To put that into perspective, this length equates to:
- One and half Eiffel Towers
- A tower of 18,100 mince pies
- Two Titanic ships laid end to end
- 27 Trafalgar Square Christmas Trees stacked on top of each other

Huge steps were taken towards a more sustainable Carver future
As part of our continued mission to reducing our environmental impact, this year we have:
- Recycled 1.6 tonnes of paper, plastic and cardboard
- Changed all of the lights at our Doncaster facility to LED
- Switched over our new vehicles to electric where possible
We completed our audits with flying colours
Throughout 2025, we’ve completed 6 audits, strengthening our quality and safety commitments across all of our operations. From ISO to RQSC Bridgeworks qualifications, we continue our dedication to maintaining only the highest standards.
We got involved and supported our charities
Throughout 2025, we’ve worked harder on our fundraising efforts than ever before.
Together, we’ve generated nearly £400 for our charities – Sweets for Life, Cancer Research, and Cash for Kids. The toy appeal to provide funds and new toys for Cash for Kids in time for Christmas was a huge success across our business, highlighting our dedication to supporting important causes.

Invested in our dedicated team
This year, we continued to develop our team, introducing 5 new members (including apprentices) across the business. We also supported both new and existing team members through various comprehensive training schemes to advance their capabilities. A key highlight was onboarding three employees onto the SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme).

Looking ahead to 2026
2025 has been a great one, but next year is already set to be even bigger.
- Exciting new projects: we’ve already got many new projects geared up for next year to grow our portfolio even more. Stay tuned on our LinkedIn for updates!
- Growing our list of credentials: we’re looking to upgrade our Cyber Essentials certification to Cyber Essentials+, demonstrating our cyber security commitments
- Team growth: with our fantastic business growth and the industry’s evolving needs, we’re planning to continue to grow our team of employees and collaborate with local colleges to take on more apprentices.
A huge thank you from all at Carver!
Our achievements throughout 2025 would not have been possible without the support of our outstanding customers and internal team. Your continued trust and collaboration keep us going and drive our success!
From all of us at Carver Engineering, thank you for being part of our journey. We’re looking forward to an even bigger and better 2026.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
